Summary (cr: goodreads)

Life for private investigator Lizzy Gardner will never be the same. It’s been three weeks since her fiancé, Jared, was shot on what was supposed to be their wedding day. He’s in a coma now, and Lizzy is being forced to make a decision she might not be able to live with.

But a string of deaths has forced her to get back to work. While they appear to be unrelated accidents at first glance, a closer look shows they all have something in common. More than a decade earlier, the victims were all members of the Ambassador Club at a Sacramento high school: a posh posse that bullied other students, one of whom remains tormented years later.

In this pulse-pounding thriller from New York Times and USA Todaybestselling author T.R. Ragan, Lizzy will need her colleagues and what’s left of her wits to help her track down a cunning killer with a deadly revenge list before the next name—maybe hers—is crossed off for good.

My Review: (also in goodreads)

Lizzy Gardner series: Abducted, Dead Weight, Dark Mind, Obsessed

Just when I thought this series couldn't get any darker, it did. This installment picks up after the last cliffhanger...that heart-wrenching cliffhanger. Lizzy was once again burying herself with work devoid f any emotion while the rest of them (Tommy, Hayley, Kitally and Jessica) were worried about her. Even though she would do the hardest thing she has ever done in her life, she still keeps her emotions inside and works like hell. Not until her beloved student is kidnapped by someone she believes is stalking her. Lizzy understandably tries to move on with her life without fail but I think I understand where she;s coming from. She is feeling that everything that is happening is somewhat her fault. I liked the book and the darkness has been written tastefully. What I didn't like is leaving the killer in this book roam free though I must admit that killers scene in the interrogation was brilliant. A former detective comes back as well as a former lunatic serial killer. I cant wait to read the next installment (I read smewhere that it would be the last one) and see how Lizzy would handle the aftermath.

Till the next read...
